Stupid ordering
So it looks like if I add more than one tune a day, I can't count on the order they'll be displayed (see the Jacuzzi Boys orgy from late October 2008). Every time I edit something, they get reordered. I guess you get what you pay for.

Apparently, this thing I'm using to generate the feed freaks out on variable bit rates. No big deal, just ignore the bit rate when it looks like some whacked out number.

Joy Division - Warsaw
- Joy Division is one of a long list of bands I avoided (see Pavement, the Pixies, et al) because I knew people with bad musical tastes who thought JD were the shit. This song was my first exposure to Joy Division, thanks to Ken Coffelt (also largely responsible for my move to g'ville in 1988). He wanted me to teach him to play guitar, and had compiled a list of songs he wanted to learn. This was our starting point. I never took lessons, so it was a frustrating experience for both of us, but in the end, I walked away from his house that first night with him being able to play Warsaw, and me having gotten over yet another of my unfounded musical biases.
