Stupid ordering
So it looks like if I add more than one tune a day, I can't count on the order they'll be displayed (see the Jacuzzi Boys orgy from late October 2008). Every time I edit something, they get reordered. I guess you get what you pay for.
VBR
Apparently, this thing I'm using to generate the feed freaks out on variable bit rates. No big deal, just ignore the bit rate when it looks like some whacked out number.

Cane and Able - Girl You Move Me
These dudes were from Milwaukee, but their records (recorded in France) were only released in Europe. I haven't been able to find out a whole lot about them, but I do know that a former trumpet player of James Brown's is hooked in. This song starts off with a synthesizer revving up and down, then settles nicely into a groovy space-funk jam. After they rock that for a couple minutes, they slide into their main groove. Excellent horn parts, afro-rock percussion, soulful vocals... overall a psychedelic funky jam.
